James Ross' film is a story about an off beat boy who is inspired to build his dream friend, a "Frankenstein's Monster", though his wish does not completely come true.

Mutant Aliens (nose planet), 2001
Bill Plympton, what else is there to say, if you won't know who he is then why are you in animation? Mutant Aliens is his latest feature film. The nose planet sequence is a 12 minute cut from this film. A must see on the big screen!

My Nightmare 9/11/01, 2002
Irra Verbitsky's WTC film is based on a nightmare that she had at 4:00am on 9/11/01. This is described in narration. The drawing that is used was drawn in November of 2000. A hand colored print was sold in October of 2001 with proceeds going to victims of the WTC massacre.
Irra is co-owner of Polestar Animation and an animation teacher at
[ School of Visual Arts ].

Thank goodness this ain't presented in smell-o-vision... A lemon-scented fellow wishin' hecould just donate his aroma to the surrounding towns and cities that he's always called hishome. A fecal vapor shows its shape here as a snowflake in the air that just will not leavehim alone.

Paul Naas' film based on nature facts, Nature Nuggets, Part 1 takes a humorous look at the mating habits of African weaverbirds. The fact that the female of the species destroys the nests built by potential suitors that don't meet her standards.

Valerie Monone's film about a lonely cowboy running an Arizona motel who gets an unexpected visitor from outer space.
Valerie is a former Hallmark artist now freelancing, designing greeting cards, paper products and animation backgrounds. She has a BFA in illustration and is a continuing education student at [ School of Visual Arts ].
