B.R.A.T.S. (Blackwell’s Radio Animation Talk Show), a new bi-costal weekly radio program featuring highlights from the world of animation. These highlights include “behind the scenes” looks at video games, television commercials, movies and websites. The show also features interviews with the movers and shakers of the industry.

The show originates in New York City and also broadcasts in New Jersey and Los Angeles with a target audience geared towards males between the ages of 16 to 35 but anyone who enjoys animation can listen to the program. Joe Blackwell, host of “B.R.A.T.S.” is well known in the animation circle and mixes his knowledge of broadcasting with his animation expertise. “It�s a cool blend of animation knowledge and fun”, states Joe Blackwell, who also serves as Executive Producer of the program with partner, Kerry Hines.

The premier broadcast, set to hit the airwaves in September, 02, will introduce animation to a new venue, radio. Like animation itself, radio has evolved to a whole new level and with the assistance of the internet -we’re able to add the visual component.
